We live in a world that is very low on giving praise…I want to write a note about how pleasant my stay in Southern Hills was. I stayed on the third floor. Your staff was excellent in their care. They always had a smile and a kind word. Thank you again.”

I recently had to go to the ER for a kidney infection. I chose Southern Hills because it's closest to my house. It was by far the most positive hospital experience I've ever had. I didn't have to wait at all to be admitted. My total time in the ER was 4 hours.  I only had to wait about an hour for a diagnosis and plan of treatment. I was super impressed with that. Everyone I came into contact with was super nice. The best part was definitely the nurse on duty though. I think her name was Marlene? She was fantastic. She put me at ease and really seemed to care that I was okay. She was also able to draw blood and get an IV going on the first try, which is worth the world to me after terrible previous ER experiences

ER wait time at this hospital is so fast.

Southern Hills Hospital has the best staff ever! So far I have had two major surgeries performed at this hospital and both times have been remarkable experiences. The staff that works there are very competent and sincere in what they do. I delivered my son there in March 2012 and the nurses who worked in the labor and delivery room made me feel like I was at home. They were very attentive and always did their jobs with a smile. I had another surgery performed there yesterday and once again I had a pleasant experience. My nurse made sure that I understood the procedure and that I was comfortable. As a matter of fact, anyone who I came in contact with that worked for the hospital made sure that I was comfortable. Whenever I need to get a surgery performed, this will be the first hospital of choice for me. It is very clean and the employees take great care of their patients. I can definitely see why they were voted to be one of the best hospitals, they have my support in backing that statement up for sure.

The nursing staff was excellent. We can't think of a thing any of you could do better-great care. The hospital is very clean and well cared for.
